Dear Merchant,
The Stockdale Moose Lodge #2178 is
pleased to bring to the community of Bakersfield
the 5th Annual "Cruisin for a Wish Car and Motorcycle Show". This show
is done annually to raise money that will provide wishes for local children in
our community. In our first year we provided $4,800.
To Make A Wish. The second year we gave them $10,350. The third year we gave
them $18,000. The fourth year we gave them over $20,000. And have sponsored
wishes for 1, 2, 4 and 6 children respectively. We raise funds in numerous ways and ask
your support of our upcoming event. The show will be held at the Kern
County Fairgrounds on March 22, 2008. We are anticipating a really fun
day and are anxious to make this an even better year for these special children.
RV Camping will be available at $25.00 per night We are asking for the following
donations: 1. Cash Donations 2. A donation of $60.00 will sponsor a
vehicle class (3 plaques will include the sponsors
name on each award) 3. $125.00 will publish your company
name on over 300 t-shirts made for the show. 4. $65.00 will allow you to sell or
display product as a vendor in our show 5. $50.00 will allow you to display a
sponsor banner (3ft x12ft) 6. Donations of prizes and gifts can be
used for our raffle. The day will be filled with lots of
beautiful cars and special music. We will have hot dogs, soda, chips and other beverages.
A highlight to the evening will
be a barbecued NEW YORK STEAK dinner. Each dinner will
be $10.00 per dinner. There will be no entry fee to come into
the fairgrounds and see all the cars and vendor displays. However there will be
a $2.00 parking fee per vehicle, collected by Kern
County Fairgrounds. This years car and motorcycle show
committee is excited about this show and plan to make it a big success, but we need
your help and support to make this possible.
